What is Opex Suite?

Opex Suite is our new and improved ‘pretty’ suite of standard Opex solutions you can use to manage your financial planning practice on Xplan. Other than the ‘pretty’ part, the key point of difference is that this enables us to provide ongoing enhancements and fixes to our standard solution. So your business can get our new bling and still put your personal stamp on our solution where it counts.

What do I need to get set up?

Your business will need to be on our current standard Opex subscription service to retain access to this solution.

For the most part, Xplan’s Hardware Hosting and Client Focus are all you need. If you’re doing the modeling and portfolio administration for your business, you’ll also need the relevant modeling tools in Xplan – IPS Portfolios & Market Data, WealthSolver Super & Pension, Xtools+, Xtools, Risk Researcher.

What if my staff don't like change?

We know that sometimes staff don’t like change but you are essentially making their life easier through a clear, standardised approach to their work in Xplan. Our Customer Success training programme ensures they feel supported and empowered from day one. Plus new staff can quickly pick it up without being a burden on the existing team.

What if some of our staff are not very tech savvy and have trouble learning new systems?

We know you’re busy and the thought of learning a new system can be daunting but we will be there to support you straight away with our face to face training programme with our experienced and friendly team. The Suite has been built from the ground up to make Xplan easier than you thought was possible. You can rest assured our products are supported on an ongoing basis by our Australian-based Helpdesk. Our Suite makes Xplan easier and more efficient for your team. 

Will it be financially worth it?

Effectively it makes my life easier every day as it is always easier to run Opex Suite than building templates from scratch every time I run a statement of advice. For those businesses that don’t have a lot of hands on knowledge of template building and xmerge it is an invaluable consideration, although having someone external maintain templates
is a huge time saver.
